Yes, it's a crappy game and this and that (Even tough it ouclasses GW on pretty much every aspect BUT graphics, and I play both games, so I can tell from a neutral point of view) but Jagex (Runescape's Anet) maneged to destroy botting. Anyways, about these random events, it's a really basic array of minigames, which occure randomly every XX hours, and require some brain tought. E.G.: Kill the demon in the next room, and then a room filled with reg "people" enemies, and then a demon.

Bad example, but you get the point. Something a BOT SIMPLY CAN'T DO. Also, DON'T copy Jagex' idea to give shitty rewards, and actually make them worthwhile, so you don't iss off the regular community. (So many QQ threads about randoms on their forums it's not even funny, they simply ARN'T FUN to do time after time again, when there is no good reward)

I would quit Guild Wars in a second if ANet implemented a similar system as Jagex did for Runescape. Yes, they managed to get rid of bots, but at a very high cost. They removed many good (by good I mean good in runescape, not good in general) aspects of the game, which lost them tens of thousands of members.

You forget that many people are totally retarded and don't report bots. ESPECIALLY in FA/JQ.
